Bill Peard for Waukee Mayor

For nearly 20 years, Bill Peard has been proud to call Waukee home.  Bill and his wife Linda raised their two sons, Brady and Tanner, in the community and they attend St. Boniface Church.

 

Education:

Bill is a proud alum of the University of Nebraska-Kearney where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

 

Experience to Lead:

Bill served eight years on the Waukee City Council before being elected mayor in 2005.  He is a charter member of the Waukee Rotary Club and a founding member and graduate of the Waukee Leadership Institute.  As a public official, he served as the city council's liaison to the Parks and Recreation Board, the Community Developement Committee, the Library Board of Trustees, and the Utilities Board.  He currently serves as a member of the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Organization's Policy Committee.
